This work consists of over 8000 small ceramic spikes — each hand-formed, approximately one centimeter in size. The spikes are partially scattered across floor and wall, and partially gathered into two soft, amorphic ceramic volumes. These forms lie low to the ground, dormant yet alert.
This work speaks of growth, time, and quiet transformation. The spikes reference both botanical structures and protective skins. Their multitude is not aggressive, but meditative — shaped by repetition, by stillness, by hand.
The installation echoes the way things grow slowly, collectively, and out of sight. It draws the viewer into an intimate spatial experience: fragile, dense, and strangely familiar.
